I brought my 98 Audi A4 Quattro to the W.Selmi garage on Greber to get a electronic diagnosis, it was a crappy machine and all the mechanic said that there was a misfire on cylinder 1.. (problem was later determined to be a camshaft position sensor), I was charged $60 and that was that. I would call it Ignorant service there, that business is not out to help any one of you, just another "scamming"Garage. That same day I brought my car to the W.selmi garage on Ch.Freeman, I had also had my car electronically diagnosed there too, this time by the proper machine. The problem was that my car wouldn't start after shut-off when warm/hot, turned out to be a camshaft position sensor. My car had to be pushed into tge shop for my appointment because it would not start. After it was pushed in and on the lift 5 feet in the air I noticed that they hadn't turned off my ignition so my headlights were left on, I waited to see of they would shut it off. After 5-6 minutes i had to go in there myself and ask the guy to lower my car so I could shut them off myself because there was no way that the guy working on my car would understand a thing I was saying. I had made an appointment to change my rear wheel bearing which I had already purchased online (verry good quality bearing) and camshaft position sensor at this garage. I had no choice, I didn't want to drive no further on the bad bearing or pay extra for towing so I brought my car there along with my new wheel bearing. My first impression on this place was not good so 2 hours after they put my car on the lift I came back to check out the progress, they only had the tire off. I made sure he knew that I knew how long it usually takes to do, if not I probably would've been charged for those 2 hours. In the end it cost me $725, the camshaft sensor was $98 and they messed up my control arm when taking it off so they ordered a new one $107. I saved my self a new battery or alternator by turning the lights off at first.. thew were that Oblivious that I honestly think that they would have left them on until it drained my battery. I suggest that you go there for their scanning tool but nothing else. Not a friendly business!!
