My Toyota Camry's check engine light was on for a long time and I took it to 3 different mechanics and I spent more than 600 dollars to fix the problem. But it was waste. finally my friend recommended me this place and they fixed my problem and it costed me only $140 . They are really good and I am completely satisfied with their service. By Karen from Toronto(0 of 1 customers found this review helpful)Quality Car Repairs & Mufflers - Brampton (Worst experience ever)On Monday March 31st, 2014 -went in for a routine oil change at Quality Repairs in Brampton on Rutherford. After about 20 minutes I was asked to go into the shop -where the worker wanted to show me something on my car. The worker advised me that my vehicle's rt lower ball joint was broken- too much play -needs lower control arm and ball joint assembly -and that it was not driveable. I could not believe this as I just drove it into the shop for an oil change. He said that I needed to repair it right away. I advised him that I have had the car for 6 months and I have an extended warranty. I told him to just complete the oil change and I will take it to the dealership for assessment. He said it was undriveable and that I need to fix it now. I said I'm taking it to the dealership. I was so afraid driving home, but I made it. I called road side assistance and when the tow truck arrived he asked me what was wrong it the vehicle. I told him what Quality had said so the tow truck driver proceeding to start up the car, and turned the tire to check the rt side where the problem was. He checked it and said these guys are full of it. There is nothing wrong with your vehicle's rt lower ball joint. He said I will take you to the dealership but I don't think anything is wrong. He proceeded to tow my car to the dealership, once I was there, it was determined that nothing was wrong with the car. I lost an entire day and got some more gray hair from this experience. Quality wanted to take advantage of me, being a female -and figured I would fix the problem right away, as I have other times I have gone there to fix my other car. This is a customary practice for them and they are unethical. Quality needs to be put out of business, and be held accountable. This is not ok.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
