I was in to help a friend who was in need of an item to finish her sons costume. It was a $1.99 item, I asked that since I am getting it for someone else, if it was not what she wanted, could she come in and exchange it for another one (I knew that they don't do returns). The lady answered me with an interrogation into why she just doesn't come n herself. I explained that was trying to "help" a friend and save her the trip. Her answer was that it was only $1.99 so it wasn't a big deal. Meaning, they still wouldn't exchange it, but that my friend could come in and buy another one. There are lots of party supply places in town, I know form having driven around all week to find my own sons Halloween costume. These guys are not even competitive with their prices so I feel no love lost in my decision to shop elsewhere from now on. I have run a business before, and we too had store policies. There were times however when we did accommodate customers in an effort to provide good service. We also recognized that that $1.99 item was not worth loosing a customer over.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
