The Youth and Volunteer Centre of Red Deer is a non-profit grass roots community based volunteer agency which has been serving Central Alberta for more than 40 years. The Youth and Volunteer Centre governs distinct independent programs. Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Boys and Girls Club are two nationally affiliated organizations. The other programs within the agency include the 49th Street Youth Shelter, and Camp Alexo.
