Allstate Insurance: Leah Deans

Hello! My name is Leah Deans and I have been a trusted advisor with Allstate Insurance Company of Canada, for 2 amazing years. I started my journey in Edmonton, Alberta where I was first introduced to the insurance industry in 2008. I worked for a great company that operated as a call center, for 4 years. I left to start a family business and never planned on returning. In 2016, I was approached by an old colleague who had taken on the role of the agency manager for Allstate Edmonton North. I was intrigued with the model of the company, and upon investigation, found that not only did Allstate's morals align with my own, but the they were also named one of Canada's 50 best employers! I was not interested in returning to be an order taker. I wanted to help people! I also needed the follow through, which was something I was unable to have in the call center approach to an insurance company. In October of 2018, my family and I decided to relocate to beautiful Bath, Ontario. Our little family of 4, LOVES to fish, hunt, and hike so we have adjusted very well here! Allstate was able to find the perfect position for me, as work from home advisor, which provides the opportunity to be present in my community, the freedom to work one on one with my customers, without the limitations of commuting and committing to a store front. A trusted advisor is what I am meant to be. I am a person of integrity who loves to educate and help other people understand the importance of holding adequate coverage, for the possessions that they have worked all their lives to possess! : )
