Welcome to Ivy Veterinary Services, a veterinary hospital providing a wide range of clinical services and surgery for birds, reptiles, dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Our location is in the beautiful countryside of Essa Township on the 9th Line, just south of the 25th side road, 10 minutes southwest of Barrie, and 1 mile north of the town of Ivy. Our veterinarians are qualified to handle a variety of medical situations. Dr. Cathy Emms is an accredited veterinarian for the export of pets and Coggins Testing (Equine Infectious Anemia) for horses. She is an avian, reptile, and exotic pet veterinarian with over 25 years of experience in this field. Ivy Veterinary Services offers an accredited mobile house call service for your convenience. Dr. Cathy Emms has been accredited by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), to test for equine infectious anemia in horses, export of birds, and provides pet certification for the export of pets to the UK, European Community, Hawaii and Australia.
