I usually like local convenience stores because they're fast, efficient, and oftentimes reasonable. Not this time.
This place I'm convinced does not train their employees on what the prices are, nevermind how to use the cash register. There have been numerous times where I have bought pop, chips, and other snacks that were on sale and the cash register put them through at full price. Not only has this happened numerous times, but the employees are always dumbfounded when I point it out. Nevermind the items on sale are usually advertised at the front right next to the cash register.
Then there was the time I bought about $9.00 worth of items. The first time they rang through, the cashier would have put them through as $40 if I had not pointed it out. Then it got reduced to $15 because again they were still dumbfounded at the fact some of those items were advertised as onsale right next to them. Did they apologize profusely? No; rather, one of them had the gall to tell me to calm down after I was clearly becoming frustrated with them for trying to overprice what I was buying. No real apologie, no here's something for free to make up for the fact we almost sold you a $9 purchase for almost $40. Just simply "Alright, mame, calm down." Yeah... I'll calm down and take my business elsewhere.
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
