By James from Surrey(1 of 1 customers found this review helpful)UnfortunateMy wife wanted her dress modified a few days prior to Valentine's day, so we went to see Vartan and he said no problem. He noticed that my wife had a cane and walker and asked what happened. We didn't get into details but explained briefly why this was the case, and he was very sympathetic, saying things like you guys are a beautiful couple, and you don't deserve to go through hardships like this. We appreciated his comment and left his place as he said the dress will be ready for a fitting two days later. My wife called back two days later and made an appointment in the afternoon for a fitting. Since my wife is disabled and can only get around with the aid of someone, she is 100% dependent on the person driving her. She is not able to leave the house alone. Unfortunately the person helping her was running late so my wife called Vartan back to tell him that she will be running late, but not sure by how long, and that she'll keep him posted. So far she had called him twice. By the third time that she called him back, it was already 7PM, and he told her that he doesn't do business after 7PM (totally fair), which is why my wife called to ask if she can come by the next day, as her ride didn't work out that day. This is when he lost it. Below are some of the things he told my wife. -I've been waiting around all day for you! -If you live so close, why didn't you just walk here? (my wife has spinal fractures, hence the walker and the cane). -I'm going to tell **** (the person who referred us) what kind of hell you've put me through today! -Before my wife can say anything, and after him yelling at her for about a minute, he hung up on her. All in all, I think that Vartan is a very heartless person, and I find it disturbing that he pretended to be sympathetic when he first got our business, but when things didn't go his way, his attitude totally changed to a point where he would tell someone with back fractures to walk to his place.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
