Through the middle of the awning the patented center beam construction works in harmony with the durable arms creating the most distinctive and wind resistant awning available. The front profile provides superior strength against bowing and deflection due to its complex inner design while still contouring aesthetically to the unit. The strength of the aluminum is not in the size but in the complexity of the shape and the wall thickness.
