By Tonya from CalgaryTerrible experienceI was recently at Lillia's with a friend to discuss some alterations to be made to her wedding gown. As confirmed by Lillia - a free 15 minute consultation was scheduled to meet and discuss what would be done and pricing. Since there is no price range or hourly rates at all on the website, and Lillia would not give any pricing details prior to the consultation, we had no way to make any kind of estimate of what the services would cost. I can't say her services are not worth the higher costs she charges, I am sure she is very good at what she does - however after receiving quotes from other shops and dressmakers, I realized she is certainly on the high end of pricing in Calgary. After the appointment, my friend spoke with her fiance and family about the cost and she unfortunately had to turn down the services as Lillia's pricing did not fit within their budget. She informed Lillia immediately, who was incredibly rude and disrespectful once my friend explained it was too costly for her wedding budget. After asking about returning to pick the dress up (this was only an hour later) she was told there would be a $42.00 charge for the consultation in order to get her dress back. When we showed up to retrieve the dress, like a 13 year old throwing a tantrum, she rudely shoved the balled up dress back into my friends hand and slammed the door on our faces without even speaking a word. She made a woman feel embarrassed and ashamed simply because she couldn't afford the services as estimated. I feel she reacted in a way that was discriminating against someone who could not afford her pricing. It was disgusting and disgraceful. I highly recommend against going to this woman as she is inconsiderate and was very unprofessional to deal with.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
