I provide independent research, writing and consulting services to Canadian and international agencies concerned with the effectiveness of higher education, research and training in economic and social development. International mobility and labour market integration of qualified persons in both regulated and unregulated professions and trades has become an increasingly important theme over this period. Recent contracts have involved research on policy and practices of governments supporting initiatives for training and re-training recent immigrants to facilitate their entry and integration into the labour market, and have included developing materials related to assessment and recognition of qualifications.
