Carrington Place has operated since it's inception, some 22 years ago, without a backup generator and the rubber hit the road December 22, 2013. During the severest ice storm in over a score of years, power was disrupted and residents had be be relocated overnight until problem solved. Many residents were witnessed to be disorientated, confused, angry and stunned by Carrington Place's failure to provide the necessary infrastructure to meet the needs at hand. To be fair, the matter was handled efficiently and with minimum disruption for the residents. This is the only major deficiency and I trust this matter has been tabled for review and resolution.
