Treatment includes: Trimming and filing nails, reducing thick nails with a podiatry file, callous and corn reduction or removal, ingrown nails, assessment of lower legs and feet. Diabetic foot risk assessment and 10g monofilament testing for diabetic peripheral neuropathy following the Inlow’s 60 second foot screening tool. Infection control: As a regulated health care professional all tools are sterilized following the “gold standard” for care using an autoclave and remain sterile to point of use which is the best practice requirements for care. Privacy: All treatments are documented and held in confidence.
