At The Happening Dance Company your child can choose from a range of dance styles including: jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, combo, and hip-hop. At The Happening, we envision young people as creative individuals capable of beautifully articulate communication through movement. Our mission is to invest in children and young adults as people first and as dancers second. We encourage young people to develop the technical skills that underlie physical communication, and we expect excellence while nurturing each individual's joy in movement. We value balance between excellence and achievable expectations, ongoing personal learning, and expansion of artistic boundaries, as well as personal expression through the movement of every unique body.
