Elasto
Proxy is a family-owned business with deep roots, strong business ties and an
expanding global presence in the plastics and rubber industry. Founded by Doug
and Donna Shape in 1989, this “Mom and Pop shop” flourished in Quebec, Canada
before expanding into Ontario, Canada and South Carolina, United States. We are
in the process of expanding our innovative business to China, where Elasto Proxy’s
technical services and application knowledge will satisfy clients in this
fast-growing Asian market. Our name, a marriage of “elastomer” and “proxy”,
defines our dedication to completely understanding your needs and delivering them
to you. Be confident in relying on us to act as a proxy on your behalf and
serve your unique interests.
The Story of Elasto Proxy
Although
supply chains are important, it is not the key to Elasto Proxy’s success. For
Donna and Doug Sharpe, the bonds that are most important are between their
customers, employees and suppliers and each other. Together, the Sharpe family
has grown Elasto Proxy from a home-based business into a global entity in the
plastics and rubber industry. Employees share the Sharpe’s innovation philospophy,
providing exceptional project management and custom fabrication skills.
Custom Fabrication and Beyond
Elasto
Proxy is a leader in providing industrial clients with high-value, low-volume
plastic and rubber components. With facilities in the United States and Canada,
we have manufacturing capabilities that include film splice molding and
waterjet cutting, injection molding, composite lamination and the
heat-lamination of 3M foam tapes. Flexible work cells and a paint chamber for
surface coating are also available to meet your custom fabrication needs. When
it’s time for a supplier who will act on your behalf and serve your interests -
it’s time for Elasto Proxy.
