Caryma started-off great. Sounded like she might be an ethical lawyer for a change. But don't make her apparent "warm fuzziness" over the phone fool you along with her presentation of very, very affordable rates. Watch out for her Retainer Agreement.
She tried to "bait and switch" me by giving me a cheap rate and then in her Retainer Agreement declaring in the final analysis she wants a "blank cheque" to be prepared to charge you anything she likes in the end.
In a case that also had a tight deadline, she also sought in her Retainer Agreement to be able to go at whatever pace she feels whether Court deadlines pass or not.
At first I thought her provisions were an accidental part of a "Standard Agreement" she just forgot to edit out. But when I pointed out these issues / loop holes, her congenial personality changed to being abrupt, and I never heard from her since.
Always read the fine print when dealing with lawyers and especially those who present almost "too good to be true" prices.
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
