Ian continues to concentrate on the areas of family law, criminal law, and civil litigation. Over his 30 years of practice he has also provided other services to his clients including wills, powers of attorney, estates, incorporations, business start-ups, and the purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties. His experience in these matters helps him to assist his clients who require these services. In addition, his experience in these areas gives him the expertise to act on behalf of clients who are involved in litigation arising out of estate, corporate, or real estate transactions. He has appeared in family law, criminal law, and civil litigation matters in every level of court in Ontario including successful appeals to the Ontario Court of Appeal. In addition he has conducted civil litigation in Admiralty Law matters in the Federal Court in Toronto, and has participated in mediation in civil and family law matters.
