I was quoted a price and when I called before the move and removed a few boxes and items the price was adjusted down. They were easy to get in touch with also. Tony, who was in charge the day of the move, was great. They came on time and everything was packed so carefully. I was impressed. Even though they got great reviews I was nervous because of all the horror stories you hear about movers. I had nothing to fear. It was so easy. I requested Tony to deliver my belongings also – but it was a different team (which turned out to be great as well). They let me know the day before the delivery and office called the day before before to let me know their arrival time. I could not have imagined a better move. The best thing was that the head office (Ottawa) was very responsive and could even be reached after hours and on the weekend. I worked with Michael during the quoting process and he was very nice and explained everything. He even brought up good points for packing and offered for us to purchase some covers for our sofas. You cannot go wrong with these guys. Great!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I declare now that Alliance Van Lines will change your vision, eliminate the stress and exceed your exceptations. At least, this was my moving experience in dealing with them. I did my due research and decided to go, this time, for reputable professionals. My friends' recommendations were all pointing at Alliance. With Alliance i found what i was looking for a long time - Perfect Movers. It was very easy to use the source, i just filled the quote form one time and received about five moving quotes from different professionals. I booked the mover which best fitted my moving needs and budget. The moving team were punctual, with lots of moving supplies. It was such a relief when the move was done and nothing was broken. I spoke with Michael at Alliance. I expressed my concerns to them and they reassured me that my move would go well. The truck arrived on time and the guys who did the moving were great. I had one box that was missing but when I called my rep he was able to locate the box and return it to me. If you have to move use these guys!!!! Thanks again!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Jennifer from BurnabyGreat!When the men arrived they were extremely efficient. They wrapped all of my furniture items in special blankets. They made sure everything was bubble wrapped including my grandmothers special plate. Runners were provided to cover the floors as well as it was muddy that day. My move was from Portage La Prairie, MB to Burnaby in British Columbia. The guy who I dealt with Alliance was Michael and he was nice to deal with. I was very service but he was able to answer all of my questions. The truck arrived a day late because of a weather storm, but they did call me and notify me which was nice. I was a bit upset but the managers at the head office were accommodating. They sent me a form to fill out with a good estimate. I was satisfied to pay that. At the end we paid exactly what was quoted originally plus taxes and a month and a half of storage. This was very pleasing to me as I was afraid of bad surprises. All in all I would call them again when I need to go back to Manitoba.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am very happy to report that the service was very good and what you would expect from a moving company. I have moved several times across the country and I have had my share of bad movers and goods coming damaged and delayed and good movers but at a very high price. I have to say that I did receive an initial general quote that was very low. I contacted my rep Michael who took the time and actually informed me that the quote may increase. I filled out an inventory form and got a revised quote. The final cost was exactly the quote plus taxes. We agreed to pay for 2 mattress covers and 1 wardrobe box – and that was the only thing that was extra. I was pleasantly surprised. We moved from Kenora, ON to Montreal and the goods were picked up on September 12 and delivered this past weekend on November 25. They even included storage for us. Great service from these folks, especially kudos to Michael.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

They gave us a span of pick up dates for the pick up, and we were so worried as we didn’t get an exact pick up date. But everything turned out good. We called closer to the dates and verified and were satisfied with the immediate response. The crew were very good. They wrapped everything and offered us mattress covers to purchase. Had to store my stuff in their storage – then when we were ready to receive the stuff we called and got the stuff delivered in 2 days. Glad to say that the quote was a few dollars more and that’s cause we bought some packing stuff. Delivery was quick – less than 45 min. Everything made it in one piece. There was a damaged light bulb in the hall way of the condo but it wasn’t a biggie as they took care of it. Over all I wouldn’t mind using them again. PS. Needed to move a few beds, dresser and boxes back to our house. We were very satisfied with the movers at both end. The driver arrived and I was worried about who would help him but local help arrived shortly. At delivery, two young men arrived who were very patient. We had a small issue with the payment as I forgot I had to be there with the card, but thankfully the boys had another delivery in the area, and they let me go back and forth. I appreciate their level of service. However, none of this would be possible with Janes and Matt’s help.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It was a pretty simple move from Victoria, BC New Jersey area (I am a student here). I did all my own packing, just couldn’t have been bothered to haul everything. I emailed, got a response right away, called and booked the next day, had movers a couple days later. My hockey bag came a little worse for wear, but everything inside was ok. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alliance.

When the movers arrived the head mover Ahmet was great. He wrapped the cabinet very carefully for me and made sure it was safe. I felt really comfortable with them. When my cabinet arrived the men unwrapped it for me and took away all of the extra bubble wrap and garbage. There was a small scratch on the back of the cabinet but no one sees the back anyway. They explained the pricing to me and it turns out the price is much cheaper than doing it myself. They walked me through the moving process and were very patient with me; this was my first time using a professional moving company. My stuff arrived when they said it would in Halifax and the driver Alex was so professional. I will never do another move myself again.
