Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP)

The mission of the Rural Ontario Medical Program (ROMP) is to deliver quality, comprehensive rural and regional health care education spearheaded by Ontario rural communities. We assist medical students and residents by placing them in core and elective medical rotations throughout the rural regions of Ontario. In addition, we provide teaching opportunities to physicians and those already experienced in the medical field. By becoming a ROMP preceptor, you can make a real difference in the lives and continuing education of medical students and help them develop important skills.
