Interior Designer and self-confessed fabric junkie, Esmari Taylor owns the Toronto based company. Warp and Weft offer a wide range of 100% woven cotton fabrics which can be used for a variety of applications such as apparel, accessories, toys, quilting, home decorating and upholstery. These fabrics range from light weight quilting and voile cottons to medium weight sateen cottons to heavier weight upholstery cottons. Warp and Weft also carry linen/cotton blend fabrics and each item description will give you a breakdown of the percentage of cotton and linen used per blend.The company’s Design Team is a company based in South Africa, specializing in hand printed contemporary fabrics using the traditional method of screen printing. Their base cloths are dyed at mills in South Africa and the print pastes which are used to print the designs are mixed by hand which renders each piece of fabric unique.
