By Cherry from Victoria B.CWhen you serve yourselfMy girlfriend and I were going to see a comedy act at save on foods memorial and decided to have appy's and a few beverages at Reds Roadhouse before the show after coming in and waiting 20 minutes to be served and still no service I ended up going to the bar and serving myself and friend our own drinks and found my own menu's which weren't offered to us since we had limited time before our event I informed one of the wait staff we would be ready to order in 5 min she said it would be passed onto our waitress whom ever that was ?? When 10 min went buy I asked one of the wait staff if she could put in my order and she DECLINED to do so !!??
At this point I was very disturbed with the fact I hadn't been able to sit and socialize with my friend because I had been up and down serving us drinks which I couldn't even put on our bill because we had no waitress...so back upto the bar I went and got someone to punch in food for us at this time we had spent $70.00 when our food came it was a small potion of four ribs with a small strip of meat in the middle pasted in an inch of sauce and the wings were edible but a hot Thai chilli sauce too hot for me ...we were upset and late at this point so we threw a $5 bill on the table and refused to pay for food as we had no official waitress we got up and left as we did so one of the wait staff ran after us stating we had not paid our bill at that point I was so mad we had thrown at least $100 on drinks including the five we left on the table and I suggest you train someone who knows how to prepare a variety of different cocktails and shooters. Over all this was not a pleasant experience for two ladies who rarely get out on the town and were willing to spend a fair bit on the evening out . Dissatisfied and disappointed at the least !-
