By Crystal from CalgaryAwful ServiceI'm writing and posting this here to let you all be aware of my awful experience with Barker's fine dry cleaning in Strathcona Park. I took them a silk blend Theory blouse to dry clean. The buttons on the shirt were all shell. When I went to pick up the shirts they were all broken. They said they would replace the buttons and when I came back to pick up the shirt they're all black plastic buttons on the blue striped shirt. Needless to say it looked awful. I left the shirt at the store telling the girl that they either need to get better buttons or replace my shirt. The owner from the store called me and I called him back this morning. He yelled at me on the phone and told me I was trying to take advantage of them. He told me that my shirt was old (I wore it twice and bought it at Holt) and that the buttons were broken when I brought it for cleaning. He said pick it up or I will donate it to charity and that he would not be giving me a dime for it. When I told him I would tell everyone I knew about his awful service, he said go ahead no one will believe a person like you. I wanted to share this here because this is among the worst service I have ever received from anyone anywhere. Please if you use them reconsider and if you are about to please do not. Not only did they ruin all the buttons on my shirt - he was also very verbally abusive to me and used the "F" word. I am just a customer who deserved good service and got abused.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
