Riley & Mc Cormick Western

Founded in 1901 by Eneas McCormick, Riley & McCormick was originally a company based on providing Albertans with premium harnesses, saddles and fashionable western wear. Today, the company is focused on meeting the needs of real cowboys as well as urbanites looking for modern western clothing, accessories and souvenirs. Beginning in 1912, Riley & McCormick has sold its wide variety of products at every Calgary Stampede, which can now be found at the downtown and airport storefronts. Eneas McCormick also co-founded the Cowboy Protective Association which offered financial support to injured rodeo competitors. Since then, history has passed through the doors of Riley & McCormick stores: supplies for pioneer missionary Father Lacombe’s orphanage; military saddles for the Russian cavalry in WWI; equipment for Edward, Prince of Wales’ E.P. ranch; presentation cowboy attire for Prince Charles.
