Sensory Garden Child Development Centre offers award winning educational services to Preschool & Kindergarten children ages 2 to 6. Sensory Garden is an integrated program with a strong emphasis on math, phonics, printing, reading, creative expression and fun. Our school is situated on one acre surrounded by tall pines in a beautiful country setting. As part of its "Nature, Science & Environmental" program, an outdoor adventure playground and wildlife sanctuary is available and is equipped for promoting physical activity, imagination and the celebration of life. At Sensory Garden we encourage children to take an active role in preserving the environment with recycling, composting and nature programs including vegetable and flower gardening. Sensory Garden has won several municipal, provincial and national awards including 'The Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Early Childhood Education' 2006 selected from 4000 nominations across Canada. Our Child Development Centre includes JR. & SR. Preschool, JR. & SR. Kindergarten, Preschool French Program & Developmental Assessments all within a Science, Nature and Environmental Philosophy Base. Sensory Garden offers full day (full & part time) education which includes nutritious meals in a non-toxic chemical free environment.
