Beacon of Hope's primary counsellor, Mr. Theo Jones, is a Certified Professional Counsellor and Registered Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience helping people cope with life's difficulties. Mr. Jones was awarded the 2012 Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his work with First Nations Communities. This medal is awarded "to Canadians who have made significant contributions to their communities and nation or have made achievements abroad and bring credit to Canada."
