    Stay Away
    It's a treat at White Oaks when the elevator doesn't smell like urine. It's a rare delight when the laundry room isn't flooded with fetid water. It's a blue moon to see anyone cleaning, repairing, or maintaining anything at the complex.

    In March 2012, we were notified that we'd be losing our underground parking spot for two weeks while they did some construction. It's the end of October 2012, and they are STILL working on the garage. We are still paying for a parking spot we can't use.

    Domestic disturbances are commonplace. The police are *always* parked outside our building. The hallways reek of pot and are often scrawled with racist graffiti. People let their dogs defecate in the lobby.

    Management does not care about residents. They seem so nice and helpful until you sign your lease. They promised us they'd paint our unit and redo the floors. They didn't redo the floors; they're a scuffed, ugly laminate mess from past tenants. The walls were painted in the sloppiest manner I've ever seen. There's dried paint drops all over our worn floors, on the kitchen counter, on the bathroom mirror, even on the front doorknob.

    This complex is disgusting. Living here is not worth saving a little money. Run. Run far away from White Oaks, do not rent here!
