We had been waiting for two weeks for a replacement Epipen (life saving medication for people with serious allergies) for my son's Allerject which had just been found to be faulty. When the pharmacy got their limited supply of Epipens in, they told us first come, first serve and they would not keep one for us even though we were on the way. When we got there, the pharmacist noticed that we had brought an expired Allerject - which was because we were in such a rush to get the medication that would save my son's life if needed. The pharmacist on duty told us she would not give us the Epipen, that we would have to go home and get a current Allerject, and that they wouldn't save the Epipen for us. She was not moved at all by the explanation that she was sending my son away without his life saving medication, nor by requests that I bring in the medication the next day- even though they had on record that we had bought for Allerjects from them just months before. She was rude, and had a total disregard for my son's safety and wellbeing. When I contacted the owner of the pharmacy he said she was following the proper procedure. I am putting a complaint in with the College of Pharmacists and will never shop there again. People who put money and procedures before someone's life should not be in the health care field.
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
