You know what’s too bad, it’s the poor attitude towards the small customers. Everybody wants the big accounts, but you forget that there are far more little guys with smaller orders than the big ones you like to butter your bread with. We’ve been in business since 1988 and the general attitude of our local Laird Plastics has always been the same, if we don’t buy by the skid qty then you don’t want the business and it really surprises me that Laird Plastics is still in business with such a poor outlook and attitude towards the little guy. Laird Plastic is one of the few companies I have ever dealt with whose local attitude has always been ‘ What do I the buyer have to do to do business with Laird Plastics ’ and NOT ‘ What do you Laird Plastics have to do to earn my business ‘ I simply asked for a price on a single sheet of ½” material and instead of giving me the price(whatever it may have been) I was given the many reasons as to why I needed to purchase large amounts to make it worth Laird Plastics time to deal with me and that I should stock quantities to get good pricing. After 5 minutes of the run-a-round I still never got the price so I apologized for taking up Kevin Lewis’s time and told him I would stay with our current supplier Grimco/Proveer/Eas-West Plastics
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
