I was very concerned about the many warnings that I read about the moving industry in general. It took me weeks to make a decision as it was a large move to another province. If you are in the process of choosing I will save you time. This is an excellent company!! Canadian National VL came today and moved all of our stuff into the trucks. THESE GUYS WERE FANTASTIC!!!!! They worked incredibly hard, were extremely organized, very polite and intelligent, and worked very well as a team. I was incredibly impressed at their skill level and professionalism. I am now feeling very relaxed that my belongings will arrive safely and in great shape as we are currently in the process of searching for a new home. They actually exceeded my expectations!! If I ever have to move again I would hire them in a second.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Canadian National was recommended to us through a friend that did a move with them in July and was also very happy. We had our items picked up in Vancouver and the stuff went to storage for a few months. Once we were ready we had to contact the local dispatch and had the items scheduled for delivery. We didn’t have to wait long for out items once we were ready to accept them. Abigail and Hanna were the 2 main people that I deal with. The crew was amazing in BC – Joe and Sonny were amazing and so welcome. At the delivery time the crew was large (3-4 guys) and it went very quickly. They were in an out. They did end up forgetting one table base but I spoke to the delivery driver and he promised to follow up. He called me first thing next morning and it was dropped off the next afternoon. He even set it up for me for no extra charge for forgetting it the day before. The quote was very reasonable and we paid very close to the original quote + taxes which I was very impressed with. I am definitely recommending them to anyone. We have now have 2 family members who were happy with the service.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Adam from Monctonparents moveMy parents wanted to move closer to their grandkids when they retired, but being protective I insisted on making all the arrangements, after making all kinds of calls I felt like I shot myself in the foot with the disaster that is long distance moving. When I called Canadian Nation they broke it down for me as simply as possible, I was so relieved just with the way they explained it I booked on the spot. The crew that came for the pickup at my parents house in Ottawa, Arsan and Omer, couldn’t have been better, they were so patient with my “nervous” mother and never ending questions (that had already been answered) even she was happy! I guess because of how things work we couldn’t get the same guys in Thunder Bay, but Tol and his crew were also great to work with! If you are looking for an easy, simple move Canadian National is the company to choose.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Rani from MonctonApril 2017 moveThis company moved our stuff from Calgary to Regina this past month. There were a few hickups at the pick up but the company worked with us to resolve it. First the elevator was not on service and the guys had to wait. Then the truck had to return as we had a power outage at the building. After everything, my wife didnt understand what departure dates are compared to delivery dates. But Hanna and Ben at the office were great to work with and even answered our emails after hours. I was very upset that we had to be without our stuff for almost 4 days extra but looking back on it - the company made an effort. Our quote was reasonable and the price didnt increase much. We had a TV packed which was $75.00 and we had 2 mattress covers which was $30 extra so not too expensive. I didnt mind paying that. The guys offered and we agreed - they werent pushy at all. Considering the customer service they showed up and depsite the delay I would consider moving with them again.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was very happy with the initial process during the booking. Everyone was nice and answered my questions. I have no issues with the office staff and they showed me the respect that most companies don’t show. When the shipment arrived to Ontario I had to call to schedule a delivery which was not a big deal but wanted to know in advance that the goods were already there. The stuff arrived, guys were offloading and I noticed that my baby’s dresses wasn’t there. I naturally panicked cause everything we own for Emma has been packed in that dresser. I was disappointed and I called the office but they were closed (delivery was after hours). The next day Hanna called me back and said that they are aware and doing everything to locate it. About 3 hours later the warehouse staff called and said that the item was located. I was relived and pleased. I received the item 2 days later. I was satisfied with the service at the end except that delay. At the end the price was less than the quote so we were satisfied. They did try and fix the situation and apologized to us both verbally and in writing – very attentative.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When I got in touch with Canadian National they sympathized with my situation, put me on hold and 2 minutes later they found a way to make it work. I was super flexible with when I got my stuff and when the movers came, but it HAD to be out on the 1st for the new tenants. Hanna sent a great set of guys, you could tell they had a long day and looked pretty tired, but Dave and Sammy were still very friendly and quick and they didn’t drag their feet. I ordered pizza for them because they worked so hard without a break, we all sat down for a few minutes and we all had a great “dinner break”, they were very personable and I was lucky enough to have them the next day when they came to bring my stuff to my new place!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I didn’t have time to move him myself so I contacted Canadian National and spoke to a very nice woman named Hanna. She assured me they could pick up my sons stuff and deliver during the time frame we needed. I obviously did not want him to be without his stuff for too long in a new city. They picked up on the date we planned and the stuff arrived within 2 weeks. My son was driving to his new school and he was without his stuff for about 3 days. When everything arrived the guys brought it in for him and the price was within our budget. I will definitely recommend these folks to my friends and family.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The guys who pick up my stuff were great. They were courtesy and very polite. I was worried if they brought a truck that size downtown Toronto it may cause some problems. I called and spoke with my rep Kerry and she reassured me of my situation. I’m so happy I chose this company. A had a few scratches on the front of my dresser and chair but overall great move.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I didn’t want to go with one of those fly by night companies to save a few dollars, but couldn’t afford the thousands of dollars I was being quoted by the big van lines. I called Canadian National Van Lines to get a quote, of course I called around to other companies, but their response was the quickest to respond and the easiest to communicate with. Great service, right on time and it didn’t break the bank. Hanna was amazing to deal with and Stan and Tony were so great at delivery.
