Plus, with more than 30 years of craftsmanship behind us, you can rest assured that we stand behind everything we make. Our Organic mattresses are different from other mattresses. To begin with, we use only the finest quality locally-sourced natural and organic materials and each mattress is handcrafted by experienced artisan bed-makers using techniques honed over 30 years leading the industry. But they look different too—they are layered. The purpose of a mattress is to provide you with an incredibly relaxing, restorative and, most importantly, comfortable night's rest. In order to achieve this, mattress makers use a variety of materials designed for different functions: support, softness, spine alignment, protection. Each function is unique and requires materials with different properties--and therefore, different care needs. Other manufacturers combine all these functions into a single unit. This necessitates compromise-- on comfort; on proper back, neck, and hip support; and on suitable care. With this type of mattress, either it needs to be flipped regularly, which is ungainly and difficult, or it can't be flipped at all, which leads to the mattress compressing, and deteriorating until it must be replaced. What makes our mattresses so comfortable, supportive, healthy, and long lasting? Two simple things: craftsmanship, and using only the highest quality materials. Every fiber and stitch has been inspected and tested. Every farm, carding mill, cotton gin, and latex plant has been vetted and scrutinized.
