    Not a Positive Experience.
My child was going to the "Youth Group" with Pastor Jason Burke. After some time, I noticed my child began to exhibit avoidance behavior in regards to the church and it's groups. Eventually my child explained to me that Mr. Burke had been talking to other children in the group and was telling them my child is a "bad influence". My child is a straight A student, and loves science, therefore questions everything. Mr. Burke has ostersized another child who is gay and that child doesn't come to the youth group anymore either. I took my concerns to Mr. Burke who did not deny anything, but felt he was right in his decision to talk to the children this way, and was very, very defensive, eventually telling both my husband and I that the conversation is "over". He did not explain how he thought my child is a "bad influence", in fact in the beginning of our conversation my husband asked him specifically whether he had concerns regarding my child to which he replied "no". But was very obviously annoyed when we caught him in his own lie as he obviously has issues with my child.

It's definitely been a negative experience for my child who was 'on the fence' regarding Christianity anyway. After this experience, unfortunately my child has turned away from God altogether and is now looking into alternate faiths. Hopefully we will find someplace where my child can feel welcomed. I hope Mr. Burke reads this and whilst praying for us, he prays for himself as well. Judgement comes to us all, Mr. Burke. "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."
No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
