There was poor workmanship on the doors. All three doors had to be adjusted. I was ok with this until my kitchen window and patio door began leaking. Contacted the contractor right away. Always seemed to be to busy to fix the problem. It took two months for him to fix window. and door for it to leak again after 1 week. When I called their contractor Paul macdonald he then told me that the issue was my home and that if he was to investigate he would charge me for it. I couldn't understand this because the windows had a lifetime warranty and they were just five months old, I spent two weeks calling and emailing only for him to deliberately come to our home when no one was there. I called the manager of burnside windows and doors who was very accusing and rude. He said that he would call the contractor who told him that he had pictures that there was something wrong with my home. I immediately left work in a panick and called my insurance company who sent out a contractor right away. After he looked at the window and door he was disgusted. He couldn't understand why a new window an door would leak. It turned out that no silicone was used in the flashing at all!! He just used a spare amount of foam that had holes all through it therefore the water penetrated through!! After spending several thousand dollars sand then to have to pay for a service that should have been covered and to receive such poor service I do not, and would not recommend this business at all. In hindsight I now realize why I see so many Metro and Door trucks doing window and door installation.-
