Latin groove dance school

The experienced instructors at the Latin Groove school of dance communicate their expertise and passion by leading students through a step-by-step process during 60-minute dance classes. After registering online, students can familiarize themselves with the proper steps and postures in groups before practicing with partners. They swap partners in order to create ample opportunities to lead and follow under the watchful eyes of teachers who correct their moves. Students learn the basics of the upbeat salsa, train their feet in the speedy and intricate cha cha, and move their hips to the four-step bachata. Every evening, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., the dance studio is open to the public and turns into a Latin club playing music for salsa, bachata, kizomba, merengue, and cha-cha.
