By LC from WhistlerFireplace they installed had to be re-doneRon was recommended to me by Rona Building Supplies in Pemberton, to install a new gas fireplace. The fireplace was being installed for propane and was purchased with the necessary parts to do so. I had a propane tank installed outside the residence also. The tenants told me the fireplace kept sooting up and did not give off much heat, though it was supposed to heat 1000 sq ft. I found a different gas fitter (who knows what he's doing) to check the fireplace. He discovered that the fireplace had NOT been converted to propane, even though it was connected to the propane tank (duh!). Which was a dangerous situation as the aperture opening for the fuel was too large for propane and was allowing too much fuel to burn. Ron and his bozos either didn't check that the fireplace worked after they installed it, or didn't care that the flames were huge. And they lost the propane conversion parts, which had to be re-ordered. For the privilege of this poor workmanship Ron charged me $1800 even though I was originally quoted $500. It cost me another $500 to get the installation repaired.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend-
