By Carl from Vancouver IslandMy Experience With Hallmark Ford Sales Ltd.I purchased a used F-150 from Hallmark Ford Sales Ltd in Surrey BC on August 28th 2014. On August 29th the vehicle exhibited a loud rattle on cold start. The issue has since been diagnosed as "timing chain noise" by my local Ford dealer. Ford Engineering has denied any repair at this time because apparently other trucks with this issue were not fixed with a new timing chain and tensioner. I now have a vehicle I know has a mechanical problem, Ford knows has a mechanical problem and Hallmark Ford knows it has a mechanical problem but tough luck for me... They already have my money. Do your due diligence before dealing with Hallmark Ford. You can read about my experience by Googling "My Hallmark Ford Truck Buying Experience" and you'll find my blog. They sold me a truck they advertised in excellent condition but that is simply not the case the truck has spent 11 days at my local Ford dealer so far and Hallmark has basically absolved themselves of the situation choosing to hide behind the shield of Ford Engineering rather than try and come up with a solution to the problem they sold me.No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend
