Alexandre Ber Artist

Alexandre Ber has been teaching his great love of watercolour to painters both in Canada and United States since last 5 years. He is involved in touring the world for workshops and also makes a contribution to several artist magazines. Born in Madrid in 1971 Alexandre moved to Holland with his parent when he was 5 years old. He was educated at the Dutch Art Institute and travelled quite a lot through several overseas grants he got from the University. Infact at a young age of 30 he started getting recognitions and had received about 22 awards in watercolour and oil painting including the best upcoming artist award. Alexandre’s career expanded after many years of learning the art of water color painting and oil painting and after moving to Canada with his girlfriend Jane he got into teaching the art of painting professionally. His love for teaching took him to Edmonton in 2009 when he got an opportunity to teach some aspirant artists at a local college. He also got involved with a couple of international artist magazines and started tutoring for them as well. His work has been represented in numerous public and private collections worldwide. He is inspired by Monet and Turner and is also writing his own book which he is planning to publish some time in December 2014. He goes away into the woods of Northern Canada where he spends about 8-12 weeks every year working on the book which not only talks about his personal experiences but is about life of an artist in general and how he feels painters are the least recognized artists in the world. He is writing his book through his work which endeavours his personal interests, experiences and places he finds connected to at any given time.
