Geoff was suppose to be our service technician. We had problems with our microwave with jenn aire brand. We called for service where he arrived with an attitude as if we were lying about the malfunctioned product. He witnessed that the product was not working. He ordered a new part but didn't call. I had to call numerous times where he did not respond. I had to call jenn air customer service to get him to call back. He eventually arrived and told me that he had fixed the problem. The microwave did not work again. I called back and he told me i was lying. He told me that if he arrived to my residence and found that the product was working that ye would charge me money. I told him that would be ok by me. He then refused to look at the microwave. He eventually hung up on me like a little child. I tried explaining to him the problem with the product but refused to solve for the problem. absolutely horrible service with no professionalism from his part.
Geoff is unprofessional, child like and may have a learning disability.
Having been a customer over the past 30 years (back when they were an appliance store actually located at Southgate), we have just had another of their rare service visits. Geoff was prompt, freindly and gave us the full technical picture, which would involve this time, not servicing the outworn washing machine, but checking to replace it (from a retail appliance dealer as they are now a strictly service company). No pressure. All questions answered and reservations identified. This is what we think good service is-- we did feel the customer came first. We know where we will continue to get our Maytag products serviced.
