When for no apparent reason other then ignorance towards an elderly woman often dependent on a wheel chair our usual cab decided to stop coming to our house to pick us up or to where ever we were to take us home, I found a card for Alley Cabs in a pay phone booth and called the number and was pleasantly surprised that after asking if a folding wheel chair would be a problem for their driver 'No, a folding wheel chair is no problem at all.' I felt a weight off my chest. The driver pulled up to WAL*MART, got out, assisted my mom in getting up out of her wheel chair and into the front seat then waited while I folded the chair in half and stored it in the back. I was even MORE surprised the next time I called and asked if they allowed animals in their cabs to hear 'yes no problem if they're small and sit on your lap they're welcomed in our cab.' Every other cab company in Sarnia flat out says 'NO! Our drivers can't handle both passengers and animals!' or 'No we have a policy against animals in our cabs!' If you want a friendly, polite, clean cab then call Alley Cabs, they're polite, friendly and clean.
