By Debbie Henton from EdmontonExcellent, meticulous service!Holyrood Cleaners and Tailors is a family-run business that truly is extraordinary. My husband has been taking his dress shirts and pants in for weekly drycleaning for at least 15 years. Recently, I asked Kuldeep Bolina, matriarch of this establishment, if she could possibly sew me new slipcovers for my patio furniture. This was a very complicated job, and to be honest, I really didn't think she would accept the challenge, only because it was such a huge job and she is so busy. Kuldeep did accept the challenge, however, and ended up making at least six trips to Fabricland to purchase enough fabric. She also insisted on a beautiful silk rope trim to set it off and encountered problems finding enough of that as well. I can't begin to imagine the time she spent racing from store to store to find the best price, not to mention the actual work involved. Kuldeep also insisted on dry cleaning each of the large, unwieldy cushions before putting the new slipcovers on. This was a laborious, painstaking job for her and we are so grateful that she insisted on completing it because we will have them for a lifetime. We can't say enough about this entire family -- they work so hard to please their customers and they have many, many regular customers. Oh, and did I mention that their prices are far below what other tailors/dry cleaners charge?Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My wife got her African dresses from her mon back home that were one size bigger and needed to be fixed to fit her properly. So we first tried many tailors places that could not help or would simply ask higher prices to discourage us. We took the dresses to them and after checking , they were able reduce the size to fit my wife perfectly without noticing it. When our daughter saw the dresses, she could not believe that someone in Edmonton could do such amazing job because the dresses are made of special fabrics and very delicate for repair. The repair charge was beyond expectation and a fraction of what other tailors would ask . Thanks for your professionalism and dedication. Firstly, they do incredible work vis-a-vis dry cleaning any garment with a reasonable price range and in a most expedited time. My second reason is probably the most remarkable. We have 2 Seadoo tarpaulins worth well over $300 that were virtually shredded during a severe wind storm at the lake. I honestly thought they would not be salvageable never mind be fixed at a neighborhood dry cleaners. These tarpaulins were literally trashed. I only wish I had taken a before and after picture because not only were they repaired by Holyrood Dry Cleaners but repaired, in my estimation, to brand new condition. The material added to replace ripped areas were integrated to make it look like it was actually part of the original manufactured design I was absolutely extatic when I saw the workmanship and work ethic invested in the finished product. The couple that rescued our seadoos from the wind storm could not believe their eyes once they saw the tarpaulins once again covering our seadoos. They actually thought we had purchased new ones. The repair charge was also a fraction of the cost from another quote within the city and not a quote from a dry cleaners.
