Established in 1988, J-Tech Design Ltd. has earned a solid reputation for excellence in industrial process, plant layout and machine design and building. J-Tech designers, along with their clients, combine innovative thinking and expertise to supply creative solutions to a wide range of industries. J-Tech Design Ltd. provides a range of services that include machine design, machine design build and plant layout. When it comes to plant layouts, we use 3d laser scanners. The 3D laser scanner can gather existing operating plant measurements efficiently and accurately. We have been using the 3D laser scanner since 2001 and have done a lot of work in the petrochemical industry.

Clients of J-Tech Design Ltd. include Suncor, Shell, Esso, Petro Canada, Union Gas and many others. J-Tech Design Ltd. has also done some work in the food industry for Maple Leaf, Rothsay, Sifto and many others. Our instrument creates a 3D point cloud that may be used within Autocad with a program call Couldworx. 3D Laser Scanning is also known as High Definition Surveying (HDS). Data collected is known as a 3D point cloud. On the machine side of things, we provide SPAC tooling which is the acronym for self pierce and clinch. Tooling is provided for in-die applications, top-down, bottom-up and cam action. They are also available in stand-alone SPAC die sets and stand alone machines.
