    North American Steel Equipment really started specializing in steel storage solutions when Steel Equipment of England became its parent company in 1952. Now, with access to new funds, better personnel, and more than a hundred years of experience, North American Steel could launch its campaign to finally achieve its vision to become the number one manufacturer of warehouse racking and other shelving equipment in Canada.

    In order to reach that goal, North American Steel based its whole strategy on customer satisfaction through 3 main targets: punctuality of deliveries, quality and value for products. Following its buyout by a new industrial group in 1973, North American Steel went through a series of acquisitions and expansions. So that it could better serve its clients, the company purchased new plants and shelving facilities with state-of-the-art technologies that could further guarantee better products at a better price.

    If North American Steel invested in property, it did not neglect its personnel either. As it couldn’t possibly succeed in its mission without the right people, North American Steel went after the best professionals to build its team. From project managers to engineers, but also factory trained dealers and representatives, every employee was handpicked so that, with every talent in-house, the company could not only be totally independent but also answer its clients concerns and desires on the spot.

    As a matter of fact, with time, North American Steel became famous for its innovative solutions and custom service. That’s why, today, it has grown to become the largest and most trusted storage systems manufacturer in Canada.
