DO NOT HIRE. Furnace stopped working,

    By Vic

    from Edmonton. Ab

I recommended these guys to my mother because of their positive reviews but we're regretting it now. My mother had to take two days off work for furnace and hotwater tank installation which could have only taken one day as the installers only worked until 11:30am each day. The afternoon after they left, the furnace stopped working. She called their after-hours line and they talked her through a quick fix for the night instead of sending someone and told her to call the company at 7:30am in the morning and someone would be at her door by 8:30am so she could still go in to work. She did and was told by "Amanda" she would have to wait her turn. The repair man did not show until after 12:30pm and my mother has lost another full day's wages which she cannot afford after dropping nearly $6000 on a new furnace.

My advice to you is DO NOT HIRE these people unless you can afford to lose several days of pay and have your furnace stop working in the night. Also, if you do hire them, they will want you to pay right away, don't. Withhold payment until you are sure that your furnace is working correctly.
