By Terry from MerrittThanks KGHRecently I went to KGH with pain in my chest radiating into my shoulder and neck. I have had heart attacks and open heart surgery so I was understandably concerned. I was attended to by Dr. Williams. After doing the routine tests and comparing them to previous results she was fairly confident that it wasn’t heart related. I wasn’t satisfied with what it wasn’t, I needed to know what it was. I was very impressed with Dr. Williams. She listened to my concerns, asked questions, investigated further. Her conclusion was that she suspected a pulled muscle in my rotary cuff. It made sense and I was so relieved to have a diagnosis. She also referred me to the RACE clinic just to follow up on cardio. The whole process took under three hours. Thank You Dr. Williams and all the dedicated staff in Emerge. Our town of Merritt is looking for new physicians and we would welcome someone as thorough and professional as yourself. Thank You T SimpsonYes, I would recommend this to a friend
By Lorne from KelownaToo long a wait for surgery!Back in March,2015 I went to my family doctor complaining of a sore back. She ordered a CT scan which I got. She then referred me to a neuroligist who required an MRI. Being told that it took 12-18 months to get an MRI I opted to go private to speed things up. I then got back in to see the Neuroligist on May 25, 2015. He informed me that I needed two operations, one on my neck and one on my lower back. He said I would go on a priority-one list and that the expected wait time was 4-6 months. I have tried to contact KGH booking but cannot get to talk to anyone and cannot leave a message. After 6 months I made an appointment with neuroligist. He said he cannot do anything as it is up to the hospital to arrange operating schedules. I am now going into my 8th month waiting and my back is getting worse as I am now walking with a cane. Needless to say I am getting very frustrate with Interior Health. I am waiting away TOO LONG !!No, I would NOT recommend this business to a friend

I asked to go number one and i was forgot until I started asking for help semi loudly cause on one side my leg and arm where not cooperative. Also after my rude discharge I asked the about my girlfriend that was badly injured I found out later,the nurse replied that she is a grown women and she can tell me what is wrong with her. My girlfriend had fractured face two broken wrist and she was in and out of a dase from being hit by the air bag. Worst hospital experience ever-
