By nicole from WellandWelland Hospital ERLast night I had to go to the ER because my throat was swelling. The triage nurse was very helpful and respectful. The intake nurse was wonderful and the doctor was absolute fantastic.I was treated within an hour and they even reassured me when I called after with questions. I had a very positive experience. Thank you.

This Hospital shows no empathy or care for the elderly. It has been twice now that we have taken my father who is 78 years old to emergency. The first time the incompetent doctor told us he had dementia. That did not make any sense to us because just a few hours prior he was acting normally. In the end we left and went to Hamilton Hospital where they diagnosed and treated for low sodium levels and of course in a few days he was back to himself. Now this time he went with a fever of 104. Testing revealed no infection but his fever kept spiking every few hours. They said sorry can't figure it out and sent him home. We figured out ourselves the next day that he was allergic to an antibiotic he was taking. We called the pharmacist and she told us he should stop taking it right away. INCOMPETENT, USELESS DOCTORS AT WELLAND HOSPITAL THEY WILL KILL YOU RATHER THAN MAKE YOU BETTER. So do your due diligence and be your own advocate.

Thank you so much you have made a difference in our lives.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend-
