Peter C. Ghiz graduated Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce (1977), a Masters in Business Administration (1979), and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1988.
Peter became a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island in 1989 and the Nova Scotia Barristers Society in 1995. He has been practicing a sole practitioner since 1995 and was incorporated in 2001.
Peter has practiced in all levels of court in Prince Edward Island. On three occasions he has argued cases in the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also appeared in Supreme Court in the other Maritime Provinces and in Saskatchewan.
His litigation experience includes general litigation, insurance law, corporate law, intellectual property, employment law, estates and trusts, real property, and family law. Peter also has experience with administrative and human rights law and constitutional law.
Peter's general practice includes corporate law, commercial transactions, real property, wills and estates, and immigration law.
